Defence Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen visits Estonia
On 26 January 2023 the Danish Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen, together with Members of the Parliament from Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
Ambassador Niels Boel Abrahamsen and Defence Attaché Niels Henrik Johansen greeted the Minister and the delegation at the airport before they went to the Estonian Defence Ministry where they were received by the Estonian Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur. The Ministers discussed cooperation on the security in the Baltic Sea region and support to Ukraine.
The afternoon was spent at Tapa Army Base, where the Minister had the chance to thank the Danish eFP-6 for their important efforts in Estonia.
