Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen visited Estonia on 30 March 2022 to meet with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and the Danish soldiers at the military base in Tapa.

The delegation included party leaders Jakob Ellemann-Jensen (Liberal Party), Pia Olsen Dyhr (Green Left), Sofie Carsten Nielsen (Social Liberal Party) and Søren Pape Poulsen (Conservative People's Party).

The Prime Ministers discussed strengthening NATO's defense capabilities and finding additional ways to support Ukraine and stop Russia's aggression.
Prime Minister Kallas thanked her colleague for Denmark's long-standing commitment to protecting the Baltic region.

Prime Minister Frederiksen and the delegation will also visit Latvia and Lithuania.
