Danish Embassy in Tallinn is looking for a Commercial Employee. The application deadline is 1 April 2015.

The Embassy is looking for a recent graduate, who wants to kick-start his or her career working with business consulting in an international context.

You will be one of the main drivers of the embassy’s commercial work, assisting and advising Danish companies on the Estonian market. You will be assigned a significant responsibility and given the opportunity to manage different projects, often simultaneously.

What do we offer?
Your daily work at the embassy will be in an international environment. The tasks will primarily be focusing on creating long term value for Danish companies with an interest in Estonia. You will be part of a commercial team, which includes the commercial (Danish) intern, the Deputy Head of Mission, the Ambassador, and with ties to the commercial advisors in the Baltics, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Your specific tasks will include, but not be limited to:
• Conducting market analysis, and gathering data and information within various industries in Estonia
• Proactively searching for business opportunities for Danish companies
• Conducting partner searches for Danish companies looking for Estonian business partners
• Coordinating and carrying out events

Your profile
• Recently graduated within a relevant educational background
• Motivated to work with business consulting in the field between businesses and governmental institutions
• Independent and responsible, good at managing and prioritizing your time
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Flair for IT systems and internet-based research
• Fluent in both written and oral Estonian and English
• Knowledge of Danish is an asset but not a prerequisite for the right applicant

Employment conditions
You will be employed as a local employee on a one-year contract at the Royal Danish Embassy on Wismari 5 in Tallinn. The salary is determined by skill and experience and in accordance with Estonian labour market conditions and salary levels. It is based on a 37 hour working week and five weeks holiday (Estonian employment rules and legislation will apply). Employment is contingent upon obtaining security clearance from Danish security authorities.
