Nordic representations in Estonia had a joint celebration

To celebrate the respective national days and 25 years of Estonian independence Nordic Midsummer Party was held in Tallinn on 13 June 2016, hosted by the Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish embassies to Estonia and the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia.

The party at the seaside Open Air Museum was a full pleasure with New Nordic Food and national delicacies as well as drinks by Saku Brewery, completed with burning the witch on bonfire according to Danish tradition, Icelandic poem recital, Norwegian Halling dance and Swedish frog dance around maypole.
In addition, the musical programme included saxophone/guitar duo Lembit Saarsalu and Ain Agan as well as Tarmo Noormaa and Lauri Õunapuu on accordions. Leesikad, the folk dance group of Tallinn French School showed some dances of Swedish-Estonians from Pakri island and the dancers invited audience to join into some dance moves.
