The President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid granted the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana First Class to Ambassador Søren Kelstrup on 11 July 2017.
President Kaljulaid issued the state decoration to the Ambassador of Denmark to Estonia Søren Kelstrup in 2012-2017, in appreciation for his services to Estonia and for developing cooperation between our countries. Ambassador Kelstrup leaves Estonia in summer 2017 after five years of service.

The Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana was instituted in 1995 to honour the independence of the Estonian state. The Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana is bestowed by the President of the Republic on foreigners who have rendered special services to the Republic of Estonia. The Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana comprises six classes.
