Danish Day 2018 in Tallinn Secondary School of Science

The Tallinn Secondary School of Science held on 28 March 2018 the Danish Day, which took place for the fourth time marking the start of the school’s friendship with Viborg Katedralskole four years ago.

Embassy of Denmark and the Danish contingent were honoured to fill parts of the day. David Schjerlund, the Deputy Head ta the Embassy discussed with 12th grade students the Danish-Estonian relations and Information Officer Kirke Torpan made a brief introduction of the Danish film scene.

Members of the Danish contingent of enhanced Forward Presence gave a crash course to Danish language to the 8th Grade students as well as talked about the tasks the contingent has in eFP to 10th Graders and discussed the issues of NATO with 11th Graders.

The school had on the day also LEGO-contest and quizzes for all grade levels, Danish-themed lessons from high school students to primary school students, introduction of YFU, science experiments and more. In the evening the Danish youth film “Anti” was screened.
