If you want to work with administration and accounting and are looking for a challenging job in an international environment, this might be the right place for you.

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is looking for new colleagues to join the Danish embassy in Tallinn, in order to strengthen our current team of global travel reviewers.

You will be reviewing travel claims for employees at the MFA in Copenhagen and diplomatic missions around the world. Hence, ability to think independently and ensure timely and thorough processing is essential.

Your tasks will primarily include:
- Review of a broad variety of aspects related to travel expense settlement (i.e. control of vouchers and receipts, assessment of overall travel costs, ensuring proper accounting and more)
- Written and oral correspondence with MFA employees in regard to travel expense settlements
- Guidance to MFA employees on the MFA’s and Danish joint state travel rules
- Co-operation with the MFA’s Finance Department in Copenhagen in regard to implementation of new travel procedures, preparation of management statistics, and general knowledge sharing

You will be part of the staff of the Danish Embassy in Tallinn where the working language is English. Apart from an interest in accounting - and perhaps some years of experience in the private or public sector in Estonia or elsewhere - we expect you to:
- Have a general flair for IT, and an ability to learn new systems fast
- Be fluent in English and it will be a plus if you have knowledge of Danish
- Preferably have knowledge of travel expense settlement and Expense Management Systems

As a person you are responsible, detail oriented and enjoy working with numbers. Furthermore we expect you to be:
- Motivated, able to work independently and take initiative
- Diligent and good at prioritizing your work - even in stressful situations
- Flexible and willing to help your colleagues
- A good communicator and team player

We expect you will join us 1 October 2017. During the first months you will receive substantial training in our systems.

Our team also processes incoming invoices for all MFA missions in Europe and we are in the process of taking over the Quarterly Closing from all MFA missions in Europe. So for the right candidates, there will be possibility for advancement.

Employment conditions
You will be employed as a local employee at the Royal Danish Embassy on Wismari 5 in Tallinn. The salary is determined by skill and experience and in accordance with Estonian labor market conditions and salary levels. The work week at the Embassy is 37 hours per week with the daily lunch break (30 minutes) included in the 37 hours and five weeks holiday (Estonian employment rules and legislation will apply). Employment is contingent upon obtaining security clearance from Danish security authorities.
