On 9 April 2015 Tallinn Book Fair opened already for the third time with Nordic-Baltic Literature Forum, which this year discussed the darker side of Nordic literature with guests from Estonia, Latvia and the Nordic countries.

Guest speakers included Kerstin Bergman (crime literature expert, Swedish Crime Academy’s Secretary), Bo Tao Michaelis (writer, literary critic and a member of the Danish Crime Academy), Nils Sakss (writer, Latvia) and Árni Þórarinsson (writer, Iceland).

Estonian side was represented by writers Indrek Hargla and Mika Keränen, historian Ott Sandrak and journalist Jan Martinson.

In the National Library during Tallinn Book Fair an exhibition by Swedish Institute on Swedish crime writers was set up and films based on Nordic crime books were screened in cinema Artis.

The Forum was organized in cooperation with the Estonian Publishers Union, the Librarians Association and the Tallinn Book Fair. The Nordic Council of Ministers Office had close cooperation with the Nordic embassies, the Finnish Institute in Estonia and the Estonian National Library.
