The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia opened a branch office in Narva on 16 February 2016.

The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia opened a branch office in Narva on 16 February 2016, as to more actively introduce the Nordic countries in Ida-Viru County, organise cultural events and play a greater role in current topical debates. Local programme coordinator for the Narva branch office is Jevgeni Timoštšuk.

The office space in Puškin str 19 is shared with the Narva studio of the Estonian Public Broadcaster’s Russian-language TV-channel ETV+ and awaits guests from 23 February.

The Nordic Council of Ministers opened its Estonian office in 1991 and is celebrating 25th anniversary this year. In addition to its main office in Tallinn, it has one branch in Tartu and now in Narva.
