The embassy opened its doors for Europe Day family event

11.05.2017  11:17
On Saturday, 6 May 2017, the Europe Day was celebrated in Tallinn with a family event on Vabaduse Square as well as the orienteering passport game and open doors in the EU embassies of Tallinn by the initiative of European Commission Representation in Estonia.

The Danish Embassy was also happy to keep its doors open for all visitors during the day. In the embassy conference room the visitors had a chance to learn from posters throughout the room about the wonderful possibilities offered by Aarhus, European capital of culture 2017, and about Sustainable Development Goals. There was a hygge-corner with comfortable furniture, books, Merrild coffee and music.
Visitors could participate in a quiz on Aarhus and a quiz on expressions in Danish language, compete for the highest score in juggling with a Sustainable Development Goals football, and knock down as many Sustainable Development Goals as possible in our in-door bowling game, and buy old fashioned Danish ice cream (gammeldags is). More than 1400 people visited the embassy that day.

See more about the event from www.euroopapaev.ee and on embassy’s Facebook-event page.

More photos from the embassy can be found in the gallery here, photos of the whole day here.
